“I really enjoyed watching this series of videos in which you can understand Michael Gilbert's creative process. He guides the viewer from image conceptualization to printed photo. Additionally, he shares with the audience some simple tools and tricks to make his photos stand out. More importantly Mr. Gilbert emphasizes the need to follow your creative path, which sometimes requires disregarding photographic dogma and being authentic. Don't let the camera be an obstacle between you and your audience. Use it as an extension of your personality. The cultivation of people skills are very important to truly connect with your subject and let them come out naturally. Lastly, while technical knowledge is essential, having fun is also a must.”
